I also think the acting in this film is excellent; Tom Hanks plays a boozehound and womanizer while remaining somewhat appealing, Julia Roberts is properly sharp-tongued, and Phillip Seymour Hoffmann is just terrific as the gruff CIA agent. The supporting cast (Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, Om Puri, and Ned Beatty) is equally strong. Overall, an excellent film that I would recommend to anyone who’s a fan of political thrillers and historical dramas alike.

Clint Eastwood’s direction of this film is superb, and the editing and special effects are also on-point. It's one of the most powerful war movies I've ever watched, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves realistic military movies like 13 Hours.

As far as true story adaptations like Argo go, American Sniper is one of the most famous and critically acclaimed examples. It tells the life story of one of the deadliest snipers in American history, and its portrayal of the Gulf War through the eyes of a special forces sniper is one of the most suspenseful and immersive depictions of international conflicts in cinema history.

Without a question, this is the one of the few movies I've watched that was able to 150%, engross me on an emotional level. The filmmaker did a fantastic job of depicting the complex emotions of individuals dealing with dread, terror, mockery, rage, death, and dwindling faith. Additionally, it clearly demonstrates pragmatic thinking in world affairs. It openly exposes the UN and non-governmental organizations' frailty or powerlessness.

This film, to my belief, raises the question of how far the statement that we endure what we see—the misery in the world—is accurate. It demonstrates the monstrosity of human nature, yet at the same time highlights the beauty of those who are able to remain righteous and keep their humanity intact.

While both "Hotel Rwanda" and "Argo" are based on true events and involve rescue missions in politically volatile settings, their stories and themes differ significantly. "Argo" focuses on a CIA operation to rescue American diplomats from Iran, whereas "Hotel Rwanda" portrays the efforts of one man to save refugees during the Rwandan genocide.
